Al Hisn Fort Museum

Al Hisn Fort Museum is renovated fort in the middle of Sharjah. Every room is filled with photographs and artifacts from the life of the ruling dynasty of Al Qawasim. The fort was built to protect the city and its inhabitants. Including watchtowers, jail and big „dancing“canon which i sone of the largest ones and each battle in which it was used was won. He got its nickname after typical moves after shoot.
The fort also served as the residence of the ruling dinasty and headquarter of Sharjah government. The fort was build using coral stones which were collected from the sea.

For the price of 10 AED you get an awesome excursion to life before the "oil era" of Sharjah, not only to life of ruling family but also every day struggles of normal people.
Definitely worth visiting. Although for me as a historical illiterate it is a bit less interesting. 3 points!

Muzeum v pevnosti Al Hisn

Pevnost Al Hisn je obnovená pevnost přímo ve středu Sharjah. Každý pokoj je plný fotografií a artefaktů ze života vládnoucí dynastie Al Qawasim. Pevnost byla postavena tak, aby chránila město a jeho obyvatele. Včetně strážních věží, vězení a velkého "tančícího" kánonu, který je jeden z největších a každou bitvu, ve které byl použit, vyhrál. Přezdívku tančící dostal podle typických pohybů po výstřelu. 

Pevnost také sloužila jako sídlo vládnoucí dynastie a sídlo vlády Sharjah. Pevnost byla postavena pomocí korálových kamenů, které byly získávány z moře.

Za cenu 10 AED získáte úžasnou exkurzi do života před "ropnou érou" Sharjah, a to nejen do života vládnoucí rodiny, ale také každodenních problémů normálních lidí.

Určitě stojí za návštěvu. Přestože pro mě jako historického analfabeta je to trochu méně zajímavé. 3 body!
